The Reform Seat Support has been developed for clients requiring advanced seating support where posture, pressure redistribution and long-term comfort are critical. Combining an ergonomically moulded profile with high-density Charcoal ActiveX™, it provides a clinical seating solution for users who spend prolonged periods seated.
Unlike conventional foam cushions, the Reform Seat Support incorporates specialised support zones to improve pressure distribution and encourage functional pelvic positioning. The contoured thigh supports increase contact area beneath the legs, while the integrated pommel ridge assists lower limb alignment and helps reduce adduction. A coccyx relief cut-out unloads pressure from the tailbone, making the cushion suitable for users with coccygeal sensitivity or those at increased risk of pressure injury.
The slow-forming Charcoal ActiveX™ material immerses the user into the cushion rather than simply supporting them from beneath. This increases surface contact, reduces peak interface pressures and assists with temperature regulation during extended sitting. Finished with an anti-slip base for secure positioning, the Reform Seat Support is ideal for wheelchairs, rehabilitation seating, aged care, community care and high-risk home environments.

Every contour has been purpose designed to redistribute pressure across a greater surface area. The coccyx cut-out, thigh supports and pelvic contour work together to reduce peak loading while promoting long-term seating tolerance.

Very high-density, slow-forming Charcoal ActiveX™ responds to body shape and pressure, providing exceptional immersion while helping regulate temperature for prolonged seated comfort.

Integrated thigh contours, an extended lower back support and a central pommel ridge encourage improved pelvic stability and lower limb positioning, making the Reform Seat Support suitable for more complex seating applications.
"I spend close to ten hours a day in my wheelchair, so pressure management is incredibly important. This is the first cushion I've owned that feels like it supports my whole body rather than just giving me somewhere to sit."
"We introduced the Reform Seat Support throughout our neurological rehabilitation ward and immediately noticed improved sitting tolerance in a number of patients. The coccyx relief and moulded thigh support make a genuine clinical difference during prolonged therapy sessions."
"The Reform Seat Support has become our preferred cushion for clients with complex seating needs. The specialised pressure zones and pelvic contour provide a level of positioning that standard foam cushions simply can't achieve."

The coccyx cut-out helps reduce direct pressure over the tailbone, making it particularly beneficial for users with coccyx pain or those requiring pressure management.
